Next steps - design phase 2
Kathryn wanted her stationery not only reflect the colours chosen for
their wedding theme but she also wanted to ensure that they
reflected the tone of the day.
Having discussed the designs she had already seen and liked
we designed a range of options which followed Kathryn's brief to create something elegant and traditional incorporating her colours and
the Orchid theme...
Having established we were on the right lines, Alison went to meet
Kathryn and her mum for coffee and to discuss the finer details...
One thing that had been causing Kathryn some concern was the font
which was to be used on the invitation, having decided that the whole text
in the Edwardian Script might be tricky for the older generation to read.
With this in mind we took along a slection of other options printed on the same transparent velum used in the design so Kathryn
could quite literally mix and match!
Ultimately we decided that it would be nice to combine 2 fonts,
to maintain the softness of the Edwardian Script with something a
little easier on the eye...
Knowing also that many of her guests would be coming from far and wide f
or the occasion, and having fallen for the style of another client's design
(brought to the meeting purely for the sake of completeness!) Kathryn decided to order the full pocketfold set ensuring that not only would her guests be
fully informed but also, because of the personalised RSVP cards, they
would also respond promptly!
