Wedding stationery

We will agree with you at the outset the anticipated date of delivery for each element of you wedding stationery. Ordinarily, if the order is received in good time, Save the Date stationery will be delivered 6 months prior to your wedding day, Day and Evening Invitations will be despatched no later than 3 months before your Wedding Date  and all other stationery will be delivered (subject to your final amendments) at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding date. All stationery will incur the additional charge of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and packaging costs.

 

Thank you notes (particularly those that involve imaging) will be despatched 7-14 days from the date the final design is agreed.

 

Notwithstanding the above, all products produced by The Little Orchard Press are bespoke and customised, and as such, ordinarily, we require a lead time of eight weeks between receipt of an order and your preferred delivery date. Final details for evening invitations, such as name lists, venue details, should be recieved by us 28 days prior to the preferred delivery date. That said, we are a bespoke company and if the timescales above do not suit you, we will do our very best to accomodate you. Just let us know!

Wedding stationery returns policy

Please note that, in the unfortunate event that you should have to cancel or postpone your event then the following cancellation charges will apply. Notwithstanding the following, please contact us should the need  to cancel arise, as we will do whatever we can to minimise your costs should you need to cancel your order.

Cancellation charges:

  • More than 56 days before the agreed delivery date, a full refund of all monies paid.
  • Between 56 and 21 days before the agreed delivery date, fifty percent of the order value is non-refundable.
  • Less than 21 days before the agreed delivery date then the full order value is non-refundable.

 

Extra charges

Additional items ordered after your original date, may have extra delivery costs if they are shipped in separate consignments to the original order. We take pride in our reputation for producing affordable luxury stationery and undertake to always endeavour to give you the best value for money.

Significant amendments to your order post proofing and receipt, may incur additional costs. This means that if you decide to change the design, or make changes which mean the purchasing of extra materials or the re-manufacture of goods, we may have to invoice you for the additonal costs. These charges will be added to your final invoice. As is the case with all of our service, we will liaise with you and provide a full quote prior to work being done.

 

Please be reassured, however, that The Little Orchard Press will at every stage work with you to get exactly the stationery that you want, and will accomodate any changes you wish to make...

 

Unique Stationery

 

All goods produced by The Little Orchard Press are individually handmade for you and because of this, they may vary slightly from one to another. Furthermore, all our designs are subject to availability of out sourced stock.  Where stock is not available we will endeavour to source an equivalent product at an equivalent price withour further detriment to you. We will take all steps to ensure no delay or extra costs are incurred and will inform you accordingly should the issue arise.

 

We pride ourselves on producing unique and custom made designs especially for you. We cannot guarantee the consistency that comes from mass production, nor would we want to. However, we can guarantee that each item has been handmade especially for you, taking into consideration all of your ideas, themes, colours, and quirks... our designs are truly you.

Payment

The Little Orchard Press requires a 50 percent deposit for stationery, upon confirmation of any order or proof. When your order is complete we will notify you and the outstanding balance shoud be paid in full before your order is despatched. Payment can be by cheque or bank transfer.

Delivery policy

The Little Orchard Press uses Recorded Delivery by Royal Mail for all your orders unless requested otherwise. We will consult with you to establish where and when is suitable for you before organising delivery (to avoid the irritation of the sorting office!!) Rest assured, each order is carried with insurance. Goods sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery are guaranteed next day delivery excluding Sundays. Please note that Royal Mail have additional charges for Saturday deliveries.

Force Majeure

We shall not be responsible where any failure or delay in delivery is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to Acts of God, fires, strikes, and failure of suppliers or distribution partners. In the event of such delay our obligations under the contract will be suspended for the period of the delay.

Damage to goods

In  the event that there is any damage to the delivered goods, details must be noted on any delivery documentation that may come with your order and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 24 hours. All goods delivered will be covered with insurance with the postage and packaging price. The Little Orchard Press will endeavour to replace goods as soon as possible.

Incorrect goods

 

It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 48 hours days of delivery. If the items are not what you ordered, you must not use the item.

Packaging

Please note that all items are firstly beautifully packaged and secondly packaged for protection.

Stationery Proofing

We will email you a proof of your designs to insure that all details are correct and will send out a hard copy of the design so that you can be assured of the quality in advance of your order. Designs which require an element of personalisation may require a financial commitment prior to the commencement of production to cover our costs of producing the proof. We will advise you of this in advance and may use a substitute design if you do not wish to incur this cost.

Photos
  • - If you have a scanner or if the photos are on a CD-ROM, you can send them via email.
  • - You should compress the photos before sending them in jpeg, in a format no larger than 2MB where possible.
  • - You can also post your photos to us, ideally in digital format on CD-ROM but in any event, for their safety, please send them by recorded delivery.
  • - Email us for any further questions.

 

Photos will be converted into mono (black and white). We can advise you as to which photos will be best suited to your designs. Please discuss your designs further with us once you have your available images and we will help you achieve your desired look...
